Sauna Questions

1. What types of saunas does Vantage Home Gallery offer?

We offer infrared, traditional steam, hybrid, indoor, outdoor, barrel, and barn-style saunas. Our collection includes models for one to six people from trusted brands such as Golden Designs, HeatWave, Dynamic Saunas, and Maxxus.

2. What is the difference between infrared and traditional saunas?

Infrared saunas use heating panels to warm the body directly and typically operate at lower air temperatures. Traditional saunas heat the surrounding air and may use water over heated stones to create steam. The right option depends on your preferred heat experience, available space, and electrical setup.

3. What is a hybrid sauna?

A hybrid sauna combines two heating methods within one unit, usually traditional steam and full-spectrum infrared heating. This allows you to choose between different sauna experiences without purchasing two separate units. Available functions vary by model, so review the product specifications before ordering.

4. Do saunas require a dedicated electrical connection?

Some compact one- and two-person infrared saunas can operate through a standard 120V outlet, although a dedicated circuit may still be recommended. Larger infrared, traditional, and outdoor models may require a 20-amp or 240V connection. Always check the electrical requirements on the individual product page and consult a licensed electrician before installation.

5. Can an indoor sauna be installed outside?

No. Only models specifically identified as outdoor saunas should be installed outside. Indoor saunas are not designed for exposure to rain, snow, direct sunlight, or changing outdoor temperatures, which may damage the wood and electrical components.

6. How do I choose the correct sauna size?

Consider the number of regular users, available floor space, ceiling height, door clearance, and electrical requirements. Measure the intended installation area carefully and leave any clearance recommended by the manufacturer. Our team can help you compare suitable models before purchasing.

7. Are the saunas delivered assembled?

Most saunas are delivered in prefabricated panels and require assembly at the installation location. Assembly requirements differ by model, and larger traditional or outdoor saunas may require professional installation. Always review the product manual and installation requirements before delivery.

Cold Plunge and Chiller Questions

8. What is the difference between a cold plunge and a water chiller?

A cold plunge is the tub or vessel in which cold water immersion takes place. A water chiller is the separate cooling system used to lower and maintain the water temperature. Some plunge products are sold without a chiller, so check the product description to confirm what is included.

9. Do I need to add ice to a cold plunge?

When a compatible water chiller is connected, regular ice is generally unnecessary because the system cools and maintains the water temperature automatically. A plunge without a chiller may require ice or another cooling method.

10. Is a water chiller included with every cold plunge?

No. Certain cold plunge tubs and chillers are sold separately. Before purchasing, review the “What’s Included” section and product specifications to confirm whether the selected model includes a chiller, pump, filtration system, hoses, or other accessories.

11. Can cold plunges and chillers be used outdoors?

Many models are suitable for outdoor use, but suitability varies depending on product and climate. The equipment should be placed on a stable surface and protected according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Additional winterization or freeze protection may be required in colder regions.

12. How is cold plunge water kept clean?

Cleaning requirements depend on the selected system. Compatible filtration, ozone, or sanitation components may help maintain water quality, but regular filter cleaning, water testing, and periodic water replacement may still be required. Always follow the maintenance instructions provided with your product.

Ordering, Delivery and Support

13. How will my order be delivered?

Due to their size and weight, most saunas, cold plunges, and chillers are shipped using insured LTL freight. Products are generally secured to a pallet or packed in a protective crate. The freight carrier will contact you to arrange a delivery appointment.

14. What should I do when my freight order arrives?

Inspect the crate, pallet, packaging, and visible product surfaces before signing the Bill of Lading. Note any punctures, crushed corners, moisture, missing items, or other visible damage on the delivery of paperwork. Take clear photographs and contact Vantage Home Gallery immediately if you notice a problem. Signing without documenting visible damage may affect the freight claim process.

15. Do the products include warranty coverage?

Warranty terms vary by product and manufacturer. As an authorized dealer, Vantage Home Gallery provides eligible products with the applicable manufacturer's warranty. Review the warranty information on the product page or contact our team before ordering if you need confirmation about coverage, exclusions, or the claims process.
